For Homemade pizza- you may want to make your own dough.
You can either use a bread dough mix (available on the supermarket aisle by the cake mix) or make it from scratch.
Trader Joes does sell pre-made raw dough where they have cheese.

Boboli is an excellent choice too. I like the whole wheat choice.

In big grocery stores you can usually buy pre-made pizza dough in the dairy cooler. Pizza dough is fantastically easy to make on your own as well. The Joy of Cooking has a great, simple pizza dough recipe. You just need flour, water, yeast and salt (and sometimes olive oil).

Making pizza dough is quick and simple.

1 1/2 cups warm water (about 120 degrees)
2 packets of active dry yeast
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
3-4 cups of all purpose flour

Using a large mixing bowl, sprinkle yeast on top of warm water. Put aside for about 5 minutes until it becomes foamy.

Whisk in sugar, oil and salt.

Add 1 cup at a time until sticky dough forms. Transfer to a bowl that you have coated with oil. Put a little oil on top of dough, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise to double its size. This takes about an hour.

Turn out onto a floured surface and divide into two pieces. Roll out for your pizza.

Note: I have trouble getting it round, so I just make them square. Or sometimes they end up in wierd shapes.

To cook - Place pizza stone in oven. Heat oven to 500 degrees. When oven is hot, transfer pizza onto stone (yes, it can be difficult, use two spatulas), cook for about 8 minutes. YUM!

You can always visit your neighborhood pizza place. Alot of times you can by dough straight from them for a much more reasonable price. I would suggest going at the close of business before they throw it away. You may even get one or two for free!
Also, a pizza stone is by far the best investment for homemade pizza. I loooove mine!

Hope it helps!
