I tasted rhubarb for the first time last summer, at his parents' home. His dad cut off a stalk from their garden, cut it into pieces, and placed it on the table with a bowl of sugar. Chunks of raw rhubarb, dipped in sugar, is definitely a tart, but unique snack.

These Lasagna Bites are meltingly soft and cheesy straight out of the oven, but really “set up” nicely and that makes them really portable for travel. Add a green side-salad and you’ve got a great lunch!

This may not seem like a very seasonal dish to share just now, whilst we are all basking in temperatures in the upper 20′s, but this really is an all year around recipe that is VERY family and child friendly and it makes a nice change for a family supper now and then.
