I’m pretty sure I made my favorite Corn and Potato Chowder recipe about 17,000 times last winter and never once got tired of it or wished I had something different. This year I added some chicken and made a few minor adjustments and I liked this version too!

Here is my take on Gambas Al Ajillo or Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. This is great as a starter but can definitely be a main course.

I love creamy soups. But I used to get a stomach ache after eating them due to the presence of dairy. Since I no longer eat dairy, I decided to make my own vegan version. Go buy a butternut squash and make the soup. It's delicious.

Brunkager, literally ‘brown cookie’, is a Christmas cookie from Denmark. Apparently part of the reason there are so many different Danish Christmas cookies is traditionally you always have to have some to share through December and having a few allows for different tastes.

Japanese Gyoza is distinctly different from Chinese potstickers. Potstickers tend to have a thicker skin and the filling is mostly meat. The Gyoza is thinner and smaller, more of a side dish to complement our rice.
