Salome Apple

The Salome apple originated in Ottawa, Illinois 1853. The tree is an upright grower yielding many fruit per season. The fruit is generally small to medium in size. Skin is usually smooth, with a greenish yellow color, often splashed with bright red and whitish distinctive dots. The shape of the Salome apple is usually conical, somewhat angular and often ribbed. The flesh is yellow, and is firm, crisp and juicy.
