About
A shad is a family of marine fish with a streamlined body, a dorsal fin and a forked tail fin. It weighs between 3 to 8 pounds and has a delicate flavourful taste when cooked. they can be boiled, filleted and fried.
A member of the Clupeidae family it's related to the famous herring.
