Chardonnay
About
Chardonnay is a dry white wine. Its most famous versions are turned out in Burgundy and Chablis in France. California Chardonnay is best known for its opulence and lavish oak, whereas French Chardonnay (especially from the Macon and Chablis) is more steely, with higher acidity and less or no oak. Though you can certainly find Chardonnay from Burgundy that has significant oak influence.
