Okitsu Satsuma
About
The Okitsu is of the Wase variety of satsumas. The fruit is somewhat more oblate than the Miyagawa, and averages higher in sugar content. It was introduced to Europe in 1983 and is slowly replacing Miyagawa as the most popular very early variety.
