Japanese Sea Salt

Japanese Sea Salt high in minerals, mild in flavor. This is a great multipurpose cooking salt from the Japanese island of Okinawa! We do not consider this salt as a finishing salt due to its intensity and the fine, rather homogeneous crystals. Use it in most Japanese recipes calling for high grade sea salt. I think it is a little harsh for use as a finishing salt, but it is great in soups!
