Tilsit Cheese

About

Tilsit cheese is a semi-soft, mild to sharp German cheese filled with many holes. It has an almost yellow to a thin off-white crusty rind and is made of cow's milk.

It goes well with dark beers and brown/rye breads, and is a good cheese for snacking. It can be eaten cubed in salads, sliced and grilled for sandwiches.
