Cornsilk
About
Cornsilk is a diuretic due to a high concentration of potassium (Vitamin K). It can be used to treat kidney stones, cystitis, and problems with urine flow. In China cornsilk is often used to treat fluid retention and even jaundice. Cornsilk may stimulate bile production, improve liver function, lower blood pressure and improve blood-clotting.
