A few frequently asked questions about IFBC 2010:
What is it?
Leading bloggers, authors, editors, publishers, and technologists all in one conference focused on food, writing, technology, and the fusion of all three.

Will there be food?
You bet there will be food! We’re gathering acclaimed chefs and winemakers from near and far to prepare delicious food and drink for the event. See our “Chef Bios” page for details!
I have special dietary needs, will IFBC accommodate my food preferences?
This year, IFBC will feature delicious food from a wide variety of talented chefs. We do want to provide options for those attendees that have special dietary needs, but the chefs are not designated specific dishes tailored to these concerns.
And while we aim to include some vegan, vegetarian, and dairy-free options for our guests, we don’t have control over all of the dishes served. We cannot ensure that there will be a completely equal number of dishes for those guests with special dietary needs, and those options may not be available at every meal.
That being said, we are thrilled that Shauna James Ahern and her husband Daniel Fitzgerald Ahern, of Gluten Free Girl and the Chef, will be preparing several gluten-free dishes for the conference! But in addition to gluten-free fare, we are doing our very best to ensure that the needs of our guests with strict dietary restrictions are addressed.
Will I get a goodie bag?
Of course! Returning premier sponsor Sur la Table is set to provide each attendee with another spectacular goody bag of kitchen tools and gadgets!
What should I wear?
Seattle is a casual city, and your comfort during the conference should be your main priority! Dress in whatever will allow you to fully enjoy the event.
Are there any opportunities for financial sponsorship so that I, as a blogger, can attend the conference?
Check out our “Sponsor a Blogger” page for the open forum for sponsorship opportunities. While we have no direct sponsorships available, the page is provided so that bloggers and companies may interact at their own discretion.
