
Robert Schroeder is Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Northwest Regional Office in Seattle. He began his career as a staff attorney in the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection in Washington DC in 1974, and was Assistant Director of the FTC’s former Boston Regional Office from 1983-1987 and Assistant Director of the Northwest Regional Office from 1987-2009. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. The Seattle office is primarily responsible for consumer protection and antitrust law enforcement and outreach in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.
