Taylor Shellfish Farms Serving Up a Sustainable Oyster Raw Bar
If you love oysters as much as we do you're going to jump for joy at their oyster bar during this year's IFBC!
Five generations of the Taylor family have been farming shellfish in the Puget Sound since the 1890s, plucking their high quality clams, geoduck (pronounced "gooey-duck”), mussels and oysters from 11,000 acres of tidelands across Western Washington and British Columbia. In fact, Taylor Shellfish is the largest producer of farmed shellfish in the United States.
We're proud of our pristine waters here in the Puget Sound, and Taylor Shellfish is committed to being active stewards of our marine environment and have maintained their tradition of sustainable farming through innovative techniques and growing methods.
Watch this video about Taylor Shellfish, and get ready to slurp down some of the finest oysters you'll ever taste!
