Cream Cheese Drops

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 packages (3-oz) cream cheese

1 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

2 cups flour

1/2 cup toasted, flaked coconut

walnut or pecan halves

Preparation

Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add salt, vanilla, egg and milk; beat well. Mix in flour and coconut. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Top with nut halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes until delicately browned on edges.
