These ferocious cakes by Scott Hove are part of an upcoming show called "Your Deadly Desserts." The Oakland-based artist created cakes with ghastly spikes and sharp teeth for a gruesome series of treats with some serious bite.
While the cakes in "Your Deadly Desserts" aren't meant to be eaten, I could easily envision them as the centerpiece of a Halloween-themed party. Hove's solo show will be held at the Modern Eden gallery in San Francisco.
