IKEA Puts Meatballs Back on the Menu

March 22, 2013

IKEA is putting their iconic meatballs back on their menu. IKEA had to pull the meatballs from their European stores last month after realizing they contained horse meat.

To prevent any more horse meat scandals, the furniture company promises to "have a traceability standard in place, tracing meat from farm to fork. In the process, IKEA has stopped using some of their regular suppliers.

IKEA promises the meatballs should be back on shelves by mid-April.
