Garnish with pickles or peppers. You can also use floor tortilla if you don’t wish to use dough or you don’t have it. Use same exact recipe, place on a tortilla and roll like a small burritos, don’t forget to brush the top with eggs before you bake.
3 onions, diced, seasoned and grilled
2 eggs for brushing the top of the dough
1 package puff pastry dough, about 12 large pieces
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
teaspoon black pepper
Combine chopped onions & ½ of the sumac seasoning and the olive oil in a saucepan; caramelize the onions.
Add the remainder of the seasoning to the chicken.
Combine chicken with onions and cook for about 5 minutes
Place chicken on the dough and fold to any shape you prefer. Press tight so chicken stays in. Brush with eggs- I like to be generous with the eggs on top to give it beautiful golden color
