15-ounce can garbanzo beans, drained, liquid reserved (reserve a few for garnish)
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for garnish
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor and process on low speed, gradually adding reserved bean liquid, until smooth.
Spoon into serving bowl
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika
Toss on a few whole garbanzo beans for added garnish.
Serve with pita bread wedges and/or fresh vegetables.
