when life hands you extra vodka, make fruity martinis...
1 large or 2 small drinks
1 ounce of fruity tea steeped vodka (I use 1 cup of vodka to 3 tbsp of David's Tea Pink Flamingo tea, steeped for at least 45 minutes)
1 ounce simple syrup (1:1 ratio of water & sugar, heated until sugar is fully melted)
1/2 ounce limoncello
juice of half a lemon
Fill your shaker with ice.
Add all of your ingredients.
Garnish with a thin slice of lemon, if you like.
For a slight variation on this drink, omit the simple syrup and add 1 ounce of hibiscus syrup instead. The hibiscus makes it a deeper shade of pink and adds some sweetness and a slight floral note.
