Jessika (Chefs at Home)

Chefs @ home® has been created by a group of friends in August ’10. It all happened by accident actually, when I came together with Sonia, one of my best friends, to try out homemade cheese croquettes and scallops with a saffron based sauce (if you would consider this combination as rather strange then don’t worry : these are two dishes).
Our saffron sauce tasted like rice pudding (yes it’s very difficult to determine the quantity of “add a wisp of saffron”) and so we began experiencing with curry, lemon and other spices and the result was quite positive. We had so much fun together that day that we decided to come together more often.
We love to cook but who amongst us still takes the time to try out recipes which take hours of your time, and with a high risk of going wrong, after a long day at work (except maybe for some perfect queens or kings of the kitchen)?

So our scope is to come together on a regular basis and to try out all those recipes we have never dared to try out before and why not sharing our recipes with you so that you might have the same fun as we do…
…and that’s how we started our site, because you can’t start a club without having a good blog about it!
