I don't have the exact recipe, but my mom makes a dish called Tzimmes that is similar to this. She browns the meat, removes it from the pan, the sautees onions. She addes white and sweet potatoes, carrots, prunes (optional) salt, pepper and honey. Then she adds the meat back in, and a bunch of water. Cooks it for a couple of hours...delicious!
