Chutney's originated in India and the name come from word 'Chatni' means strong sweet relish.It say's that it first appeared in Britain,in 17th century, it spread through the empire of British.Chutney is very popular in India and it is served with every meal of India.Different varities are present.In Britain they manly make chutney of fruits. Its is made by crushing the ingredients alltogether.
