I AM TRYING TOI FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE ORANGE CHICKEN AND I WANT TO MAKE IT MY OWN BY ADDING MY OWN INGRIDENTS BUT I NEED A BASIC RECIPE CAN ANYONE HELP?
Here is a simple orange chicken recipe that I like. It not too sweet and it has a nice fresh orange taste.
Mix together 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 3/4 cup of orange juice, and 4 tablespoons of your favorite vinegar. Set aside.
Cut chicken tenders into bite sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper and coat with flour. Fry in oil (I use peanut oil), in batches, until done. Set aside.
To oil add 4 cloves of garlic, chopped. Next add the soy sauce mixture.
Add the chicken back in and cook until bubbly.
Top with chopped green onions and serve with rice.
