Question: I added too much salt to my Lobster Bisque, can I reverse it?

it was by accident it came out way too salty and i would really like to salvage my bisque!

Also, if the recipe involves butter at all, make sure you use unsalted butter - you can always add more salt if there isn't enough.

Try throwing a raw potato into it and reheat it. This works with over salted soups. Some people will leave the potato in- but I would remove it before serving.
