Caffeine is not harmful as long as you aren't drinking it by the buckets! LOL! I am from the south and we love our sweet tea and I had a glass or 2 or 3 while I was pregnant with my first son and he is just fine. I did switch to decaf with my second and didn't really see a big difference. You can ask your doc what natural remedies are ok. Some teas will help, you can try honey cough drops you know something that doesn't have loads of meds in them. Also adding honey to your tea may help. As for your nose either keep blowing it or you can use a saline solution for it just mix a little salt and water or buy the over the counter stuff, the doc gave me this when I was pregnant. Your body is going through major changes right now and your immune system is out of sorts as well. You may find that you are more prone to getting sick right now. Being pregnant does make you tired but being sick and preg will make you extremely tired. Just get some rest drink plenty of oj and you'll be feeling better soon.
