Since there are different recipes and ingredients for a specific dish, the nutritional content changes and I have to do a simple approximation of the nutritional information based on the main ingredients in a recipe. When I need the nutritional information on a recipe, I sometimes look up the ingredients using the USDA National Nutrient Database or the MyPlate feature in Livestrong.com. Hope this can also help you when you start making your own recipes.
