Question: Are orange pepper bad if the seeds are black?

The pepper itself looks fine, but whenn I cut it open I found that the seeds were black. This was a big turn off, and I used another pepper for now. Should I let the blacdk seeds deter me from using the pepper in the future?

It's probably an injury to the fruit called a chilling injury. It caused the seeds to discolor. The meat of the pepper should be okay as long as there is no visible mold or rot. Wash the pepper thoroughly and cut away the seed cavity. If you're still squeamish- toss it out.
