Question: What is the best way to support a Three Tiered cake on the fly?

August 6, 2010
I have a double layer three tiered carrot cake to put together. What is the best way to to support a three tiered cake? I'm looking for resourceful replacements over going to the cake shop to buy supports (when I may never make a three tiered cake again). thanks, Denise

perfect! just as the size that i am doing. you can visit my blog for not so expensive materials that you can use for that particular cake. but i will suggest to you to use something hard for the base board, say a half-inch thick plywood. ok?

here is the link of my food blog: http://guerrerosfoodstore.blogspot.com/search/label/shared%20ideas

if you still have some questions... just message me ok? im glad to help.
