I remember reading that. yes, you can use Evaporated Milk as a substitute for half & half, that's 1 cup of evaporated milk = 1 cup of half & half.
Another substitute for it is to use 1/2 cup of whole milk and 1/2 cup of cream to make a cup of half and half.
