Question: Why is Thomas Kemper ginger ale bottle green?

The flavor of Ginger Ale degrades with exposure to sunlight. The green tinting helps protect it.

The bottle is brown and Barnaby is correct...to protect the bubbly goodness inside the bottle.

Curt is right- the bottles are brown. In addition to protecting them, it's a marketing method that gives them the appearance and feel of something that has more value and is something special. It works for me! I'd pay more for it - because it looks better. (I'm a sucker okay). If you find their new blood orange flavor somewhere- please share the source!
