Mexican Dip Using Refried Beans
Ingredients
1 can
refried beans
1 jar salsa (mild, medium or hot)
1 tub
of
sour cream
2
x
avocados
1
tomato
chopped
grated
cheese
shallots
Preparation
1
In a bowl
mix
together the refried beans and the
salsa,
2
Then layer it in your
dish,
3
I always put it straight in the fridge to set a little bit, it makes it easier to put the next layer on.
4
Empty
sour
cream
into the bowl,
mix
it with a fork or
spoon
until it is spreadable.
5
Spread the
sour
cream
on
top
of the first layer.
6
Put it back into the fridge.
7
Put avocados into bowl,
mix
to the same consistency as guacamole.
8
Layer avocados spread onto the
sour
cream
(this will be the third layer).
9
Garnish
with finely
chopped
tomatoes, shallots and
grated cheese
10
For added
flavor,
sprinkle very tiny
chopped
green and red capsicum and a hot chilli – minus the
seeds
.
