Beef and Green Pepper Stir Fry

Ingredients

1 lb. round/flank steak
5 pieces celery
1/4 c. peanut oil
2 tsp.s cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp.s soy sauce

Preparation

Slice steak, green pepper, and celery on an angle into very thin cross wise slices. Stir together in medium mixing bowl cornstarch, ginger, sugar, soy sauce, and medium sherry until smooth. Mix in meat and let stand 20 minutes. In wok or large skillet, heat oil on high heat. Add green pepper and celery; stir-fry one minute. Mix in meat; stir fry 4 minutes until meat loses its red color. Serve with rice. Serves 4.
