Cream Of Anything Soup Base

Ingredients

2 2/3 cups dry milk powder

1 1/2 cups flour

2 teaspoons salt

1 cup butter

Preparation

In medium mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients

Cut in butter with a pastry cutter or two forks, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs

To use:

Combine 1/2 cup mix with 1 cup water and heat over medium heat, stirring often, until thick and bubbly.

Thanks Tammi! I like it also for any crockpot recipes. There are SO many recipes that always seem to include a can of cream of _____ soup, and I try to avoid that. This works great!

Use this for all those crock pot recipes that you never use, because they always require a can of creamed soup. Replace that can, with 1 cup of this finished recipe.
