  • 1 cup popcorn kernels, preferably white popcorn
  • oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt (the finer the better)
  • 2 pinches fennel pollen

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the oil in the bottom of a large pot (enough to cover the bottom).

Step 2

Add the popcorn kernels, close the lid, and turn the heat up to high.

Step 3

Turn the heat off when the popping slows down.

Step 4

Empty the popcorn into a large bowl.

Add the butter into the hot pot to melt.

Step 6

Pour the melted butter over the popcorn.

Step 7

Season to taste with salt and pollen.
