cup heavy cream

teaspoon salt and ground pepper to taste

to 2 cups fresh or frozen peas

tablespoon snipped fresh or frozen chives

Step 1

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring cream and seasoning to a boil and cook until thick, about 5 minutes; whisk frequently. Five minutes before serving, stir in peas and bring back to a boil, stirring frequently. Add chives just before serving.
