Cranberry-Apple Sauce

Ingredients

1 pound cranberries, picked over and washed
2 cups sugar
2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation

Place cranberries in a 2 quart saucepan. Add the apples and sugar. Cover and place over medium heat. When the cover is hot to the touch, reduce heat to low and cook for 12 minutes. Stir in the spices. Serve with pork, chicken or turkey.
