Maggie's Favorite Dog Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups oatmeal
1 cup hot water
1 1/2 cups vegetable or chicken stock (use low sodium)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients, adding more flour, if dough is too sticky.

Knead well.

Roll out to 1/4" flat and cut into shapes with cookie cutter.

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Turn off heat and let cool in oven overnight.

Store in an airtight container.

This was Maggie's favorite.
Note*- She never complained if I added a 1/2 cup of liver or minced chicken to the recipe. At Thanksgiving- I would retain the water that I cooked the giblets in, for dog biscuits.
