Roast Chicken Cantonese

Ingredients

1 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon ginger
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon ginger root, minced
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
1 3 1/2 lb Fryer Chicken

Preparation

Combine and mix together in a mixing bowl. Rub one 3 1/2 pound fryer in and out with the mixture. Marinate for 45 minutes before roasting.

Bake chicken at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Can also be done with chicken pieces.

The smell is heavenly! And the leftovers can be cut into strips, sprinkled with sesame seeds and used with leftover marinade for a delicious salad topping!
