Ingredients

3/4 cup Shortening

1 cup Brown sugar

1/2 cup Molasses

2 tablespoons Orange zest, fine grated

2 1/4 cups Flour

1 tablespoon Ginger

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

2 teaspoons Baking soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 tablespoon Zest

1/2 cup Sugar

Preparation

Mix all in order given. Scoop out balls of dough and drop into coating.

Toss, then place on cooking sheet and flatten with the palm of your hand.

Crystal coating of sugar on moist orange-ginger cookies .... heaven is a hot cookie!
