edit Ingredients

cup shortening

2

cups brown sugar

2

eggs

1

teaspoon salt

1

teaspoon baking soda

2

cups flour

2

cups oatmeal

¾

cup raisins

¾

cup chocolate chips

edit Preparation

Step 1

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients in order listed. Mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto cookie sheet. May need to flatten slightly. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes.
