Ingredients
1 cup
Basmati Rice
1
Onion,
medium,
chopped
1/2
Tomato,
small,
chopped
15
Mushroom,
chopped
1/2 cup
Peas
1 pinch
Turmeric
powder
2 cups
Water
to taste
Salt
For Grinding:
3
Green chilies
2 teaspoons
Ginger
and
Garlic
paste
1 cup
Mint
and
cilantro
leaves,
chopped
1/2 teaspoon
Fennel seeds
For
Seasoning:
2 tablespoons
Oil
1 Cardamom
1 inch
Cinnamon stick
1
Bay leaf
2 teaspoons
Ghee
Preparation
1
Wash
&
soak
rice for 15 minute & drain it.

Grind
the
grinding
ingredients into fine paste & keep it aside.

In a Pan, add 1tsp of ghee &
fry
soaked
rice for few seconds and keep it aside.

In same pan, Pour Oil & Ghee then add
seasoning
Ingredient.

After few seconds, add Onion and Saute till it
turns
golden
brown
color
.

Add the
ground
paste with turmeric powder &
fry
till raw smell disappear & oil leaves the mixture.

Then add
chopped
mushroom & peas with tomato & saute for 5 ~ 7 minutes.

Now add
fried
rice, 2 cups of water &
salt
.

Mix
well & adjust the
salt
to
taste
.

When mixture starts to boil vigorously, Cover with lid & reduce the
heat
to low.

Cook for another 10 minutes &
turns
off the
heat
.

Mix
gently &
serve
hot with spicy gravy or any Raita.
