How To Make Coloured Sugar At Home

50g Coarse sugar
few drops Wilton candy colour

Place sugar in a bowl and use a skewer to dip the colour and drop it on the sugar.
Use the back of the spoon to mix the colour and sugar well together. Add slightly more to get a deeper colour.
When all of the sugar is saturated with colour, leave it to dry for about 5 minutes.
You may find some lumps after drying, use the back of the spoon and press to separate the sugar lumps or if it is real hard, just remove it.

Have you thought of making your own coloured sugar at home and save some monies for other ingredients for your bakes?
