chicken breasts

400

grams ham

6

spring onions

1

tablespoon vegetable oil

4

tablespoons honey

cup lemon juice

cup chicken stock

tablespoons soy sauce

2

clv garlic, crushed

1

teaspoon ginger, crushed

1

teaspoon chilli paste

2

teaspoons curry powder

salt, pepper

Step 1

Cut ham and chicken into 3cm cubes and thread onto skewers alternately with spring onion pieces. You should have about 20.

Step 2

Combine all ingredients for marinade in a tray and mix well. Add shasliks and mix well to coat with marinade. Leave to stand for 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Step 3

Cook on a tray in a hot oven, under the grill or on the BBQ, turning and basting frequently with marinade to glaze.

Step 4

Makes about 20.
