pound Asparagus

1

tablespoon Olive oil

1

tablespoon Soya sauce

2

teaspoons Balsamic vinegar

1

tablespoon Toasted sesame seeds

½

teaspoon Toasted sesame oil (opt)

Step 1

Snap off tough asparagus ends and, if large, peel stalks. Arrange in a single layer in baking dish. Drizzle with oil; roast in oven, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

Step 2

In a bowl combine soya sauce and balsamic vinegar; drizzle over asparagus.

Step 3

Roast 5 minutes more or until tender-crisp. Remove from oven; sprinkle with sesame seeds and sesame oil, if using.

Step 4

Yield: 4 servings
