Herb-Butter Sauce

Ingredients

cup butter
4 teaspoons snipped fresh basil
(or 1 1/2 tspns dried basil, crushed)
teaspoon snipped fresh oregano
(or 1/2 tspn dried oregano, crushed)
teaspoon snipped fresh tarragon
(or 1/2 tspn dried tarragon, crushed)
teaspoon snipped chives
teaspoon snipped fresh thyme
(or 1/4 tspn dried thyme, crushed)
1 dsh freshly-ground black pepper

Preparation

In a small saucepan melt butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook 1 to 2 minutes to blend flavors. Serve with grilled fish or vegetables.
