Orange-Almond Biscotti

Ingredients

2 cups All-purpose flour, unbleached
1 teaspoon Baking powder
teaspoon Salt
4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
1 cup Sugar
2 lrgs Eggs
cup Whole almonds with skin, toasted and coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons Minced zest from 1 orange

Preparation

Sift first 3 ingredients together in a small bowl.

Beat butter and sugar together in bowl of electric mixer until light and smooth; add eggs one at a time; then extracts. Stir in almonds and zest.

Sift dry ingredients over egg mixture, then fold in until dough is just mixed.
