Ingredients

2 8 oz pkgs Semi-sweet chocolate
3/4 cup Brown sugar, light, packed
1/4 cup Butter or margarine
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Flour
1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
2 cups Nuts, chopped

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 . Coarsely chop 8 squares of the chocolate, set aside. Microwave remaining 8 squares of chocolate in large microwave safe bowl on HIGH 1-2 minutes. Stire until chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder.

Fold in remaining chocolate and nuts. Drop by 1 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-13 minutes.

Makes about 1 dozen cookies.
