Hearty Breakfast Porridge

Ingredients

3/4 cup mixed rolled cereals (rye or oats or wheat or kamut)
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar,or to taste
1 pch salt
2 tablespoons mixed nuts

Preparation

In a wide mouthed thermos, combine rolled cereal, water and salt. Close tightly and let stand 20 minutes, or until cereal is soft. Stir in honey, nuts, and fruit.
