Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

3 lbs. of chicken breasts
16 oz. jar of salsa
1 taco seasoning packet
1 Mexican beer
1 squeezed lime

Preparation

1. Place all ingredients into a crock-pot.

2. Cook on low for six to eight hours or on high for four hours.

3. If you cook on low, shred the chicken with a fork after about four hours.

4. I used corn tortillas and garnished them with shredded lettuce, cheese, and sour cream.

About

I made chicken tacos last weekend on May 6th in honor of Cinco de Mayo-even though it was a day late. I had a jewelry party (post coming soon!) and needed to feed a crowd of ladies. I originally found this recipe on Pinterest from this blog: Chocolate Therapy. I wanted to make it my own so I tweaked a few things. You should note that I never make anything too complicated with too many ingredients. This was as easy as it gets, and it was a hit!
