Dolma (An Iraqi Kurdish and Turkish Dish)

Ingredients

75 grams Rice washed and soaked in water
3 Onion finely Chopped medium size
1/2 cup Parsley fresh chopped
1/2 cup Soy fresh chopped
1 .tablespoon Olive oil
50 grams Butter
Fresh garlic 2- 3 cloves crushed
1/2 kilogram Minced Meat (mutton/chicken) Boiled
Spices: Salt to taste, black pepper powder ½ tsp,

Preparation

Remove the top and seeds of bell pepper and keep aside

Mix together rice, onion, tomatoes, olive oil, butter lemon juice, garlic and minced meat and spices.

Make a paste by kneading like dough .

Fill the mixture to bell pepper and cap with tomatoes.

Arrange the filled capsicum in a pan, and pour 1 and 1/2 cup hot water to it and cook on low fire till rice, capsicum becomes tender (60-90 minutes)

Delicious Dolmas are ready serve with pitta bread (arabian bread)
